Brazilian jiu-jitsu, is a martial art, combat sport, and self defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu emphasizes on fighting effectively, allowing the person to defend him or herself successfully, even if the opponent is bigger and stronger. This is done through properly applied techniques, gaining leverage, and taking the fight to the ground as an advantage.
Han Mu Do
Developed by Dr. He-Young Kimm in the late 1980s, Han Mu Do is a modern Korean martial arts system that builds on traditional Korean martial arts with an emphasis on body control, balance, and personal self-defense. Han Mu Do is a technique-focused style, which accommodates various levels of physical strength.
Han Mu Do classes are held once a week. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are held twice a week. You must be at least 16 years or older to enroll.
